As part of the international project "Children in the climate crisis", delegations from each project partner traveled to the far east of Europe. From 30.9. to 3.10.2024, around 50 students and teachers in Estonia worked on further ways to bring climate protection closer to kindergarten children in particular. In addition to drawing up plans for use in nurseries and all-day schools, the participants also experienced climate change and the fight against it at first hand. For example, a rain walk through a moorland area demonstrated the sensitive dependence of this ecosystem on even minor climatic changes.
And during a visit to the Estonian parliament, young MP and climate activist Hanah Lahe explains the fight against climate change from a political perspective.
