The main hall of Santa Ana School in Fraga will host the traveling exhibition "PAPARRUCHAS – Let’s Talk About Fake News", created by the Planetarium of Aragón in 2022. The exhibition will be available from January to April and will be incorporated into various subjects and educational levels. It is part of the Erasmus+ project "Children in the Climate Crisis", whose next meeting will take place in April in Anguillara, Italy.

The exhibition focuses on the impact of misinformation and the psychological factors influencing our perception of truth. In today’s world, where social media has reshaped access to information, it is crucial to distinguish between facts and manipulation. This is particularly important for young people, who are increasingly disconnecting from traditional media and are therefore more exposed to fake news and misinformation.

Through practical examples and strategies for detecting false information, "PAPARRUCHAS" aims to foster critical thinking and media literacy. The exhibition was first inaugurated on October 24, 2022, at the Faculty of Humanities and Education, as part of the 32nd Psychology Conference and its cycle of lectures on truth perception.

With this initiative, Santa Ana School in Fraga reinforces its commitment to education in values and the development of critical-thinking citizens who are aware of the impact of misinformation in today’s society.

This initiative is made possible with the collaboration of:

✅ University of Zaragoza
✅ School of Art of Huesca
